The Spirit of the DOC

The Firefly DOC is meant to reward LPs and those who trade on our DEX to identify future leaders of the project through our coming DAO . We provide them with sufficient quantities of $FLY, the governance token that will be used for voting to decide the direction of Firefly.

Through FLY, people own a piece of the Modular blockchain future.

How do we find Firefly's Future Leaders?

The best people to hold FLY are those that are DEX power-users- the traders, investors, and liquidity providers. Who knows what DEX's need more than its users?

Through our Trading Competition D.O.C., we will identify the most avid traders, and they will receive up to 2.5% of token supply. We expect these users to be responsible governance members in the Firefly DAO guiding our DEX going forward -- so that it meets the needs of traders.

We want FLY holders that will be thinking- what will Firefly look like 5 years down the road?

Through our Liquidity D.O.C., we will identify the most committed liquidity providers, who supply the tokens needed for trading on the platform, and who we will depend on providing future liquidity as new tokens become available on Manta Pacific chain.

We will provide them with 17.5% of FLY tokens to these future stewards of the project, knowing they will shape the project in ways that make it better for LP's - such as devising new features and incentives.

Additional D.O.C. recipients are Manta DeFi users. We know that by rewarding and inviting these members into the Firefly community, they will bring their knowledge and experience of different DeFi protocols in a way that betters the Firefly DEX and best serves Manta users.

FLY Holders and Leadership

FLY holders who stake their tokens will be eligible for direct rewards and higher APRs on farming in the future. Additionally, the governance power of $FLY allows holders to direct which Firefly trading pools receive as much as 25% of total supply reserved for $FLY pool incentivization.

We know FLY is in good hands with those in the community who think long-term and want to shape Firefly to be the best possible DEX for years to come. We encourage future governance members to think long-term and participate in our coming DAO.
