Trading DOC

Firefly will host trading competitions during the "New Illumination" and "Under the Sea" events for traders to earn $FLY tokens.

The competitions are meant to encourage our community to participate and earn 2.5% of the total supply of tokens (2.5 million $FLY tokens), depending on how much you trade.

In the first competition "New Illumination", traders can earn 1.25 million $FLY tokens. The same will be true in the second season "Under the Sea".

We encourage users to make Firefly their dex on Manta and trade regularly. We do not publish the exact rules for determining points earned from trading. This is because we want organic, regular activity. The factors could include: volume of trades, fees incurred, variety of trades, how early into the event you've traded, number of days traded, etc. There could be other factors. We reserve the right to cap the number of points earned per trader.

The trading leaderboard shows a Score that is based on a multiple of the user's total trading fees. But bear in mind, the Score is just one measure. It is not determinative of the number of points and thus $FLY tokens you will earn. The leaderboard score is a fun, competitive metric but just one way we gauge DOC points for trading.

So long as you use Firefly as your DEX, invite others (ideally with an invite code), and trade regularly you'll do just fine.

Only at the end of the competition, your trading DOC points will show. You can claim them after the $FLY TGE and they will begin converting into $FLY tokens to be retrieved.

Eligible Pools

• Any combination of: MANTA, ETH, USDC, wUSDM, STONE, wBTC, USDT, FLY, TIA, Lab.M, stMANTA. (coming soon: ZERO).

• wUSDM, STONE, or ETH combined with any of the following: ASM, GAI, GOK, MaticX .

• Any combination of: ETH, Stone, weETH, wstETH, rETH .

Take note that different pools on Firefly have different trade fee percentages (1%, 0.3%, 0.05%).

Notes

• After points accumulate over a DOC season (ie: "New Illumination"), there will be a 1-2 week period afterwards where the project applies anti-sybil rules, detects improper self-referral, and checks for accuracy. Initial points total may change as a result when the Official points total is tabulated.

• Points can only be claimed after the $FLY TGE has taken place. (the $FLY TGE will take place before the firefly DOC concludes)

• Once points accumulated can be claimed and are, points will convert to $FLY tokens over a 6 month period.

• Point Penalties may also apply. For example, for self-referral.

• Points must be claimed with 30 days of when they are available to be claimed. If not, they will be converted to $FLY tokens and returned to the Project Development Fund.

• Eligible Pools may be added or removed.

• Reward tokens not claimed within 3 months of the complete vesting period will be returned to the Project Development Fund account for maintenance and enhancement of Firefly, under the team's discretion.

• Firefly reserves the right to add multipliers or subtractors to any pool; meaning points earned will be higher or lower based on the multiples/subtractors applied to the pool.
